UPDATE: Morris/Essex Service Restored After Train Strikes Trespasser
New Jersey Transit reports a person was struck by a train in Union County area.

UPDATE 6:08 p.m.: NJ Transit reports the Morris & Essex - Gladstone Line is now operating on or close to schedule, with residual delays to trains still in route.
UPDATE 4:18 p.m.: NJ Transit announced that service has been restored on the Morris/Essex Gladstone line after a trespasser was struck earlier. Trains on the Morris/Essex Gladstone line, however, are subject to delays of up to 60 minutes.
