Union County Celebrates Black History Month
The 2016 Union County Black History Month Celebration on Wednesday, Feb. 17, 3:30 p.m. at Union County College in Cranford.

Cranford, NJ -- The Union County Board of Chosen Freeholders invites the public to attend the 2016 Union County Black History Month Celebration on Wednesday, Feb. 17, 3:30 p.m. at Union County College in Cranford.
This year’s annual celebration includes vocalists and dance performances, with featured speakers Jerry Green (Speaker pro tempore for the New Jersey State Assembly) who will receive the annual Chester Holmes Humanitarian Award, Tara Dowdell (public relations guru and former Apprentice star), and Luther Wright (who is the DJ and a former center for Utah Jazz pro basketball team), as well as student body speakers and area talent. This is a free event and refreshments will be served afterward.
