• Commuter parking lot at Route 36 and Wilson Avenue is permanently closed (themonmouthjournaleastern.com) — If you park at the Route 36 and Wilson Avenue commuter lot in Port Monmouth, that lot is now permanently closed, and your existing permit is being honored at the Route 36 and Thompson Avenue lot in North Middletown. Township officials urge commuters to allow extra travel time while they adjust and say they are working to secure a new Port Monmouth parking location along Route 36.
