• Admitted leader of multimillion-dollar health care fraud scheme finally sentenced (breakingac.com) — A man who once lived in Northfield has been sentenced to 27 months in federal prison for leading a multimillion-dollar health care fraud scheme, while his lieutenant from Northfield received a 12‑month term. The long-running case involved unnecessary compounded prescriptions that cost public benefit programs tens of millions of dollars, and restitution of more than $51 million has been ordered.
   

• NBC10 Viewers share footage as SpaceX launch visible over Philadelphia region (nbcphiladelphia.com) — Early risers in Northfield caught a rare sight as SpaceX's Falcon 9 launch was clearly visible overhead, and one local resident even shared video with NBC10. The rocket, carrying 29 Starlink satellites, streaked across the pre‑dawn sky before its booster safely landed back in Florida minutes later.
