• 12 Residents Displaced After Pleasantville, NJ, Apartment Fire (wpgtalkradio.com) — Northfield firefighters helped battle a serious apartment fire in nearby Pleasantville that displaced 12 residents but caused no injuries, thanks to a fast, coordinated response. Crews from several towns, including Northfield, brought the blaze under control, while the Red Cross is assisting affected families. Officials are also urging residents to check smoke alarms and plan two escape routes.
