OAKLAND, NJ — West Oakland Avenue is currently closed between Edison Avenue and Jerome Avenue because of a downed tree and power lines, according to borough officials.
The roadway will remain closed until utility crews from Orange and Rockland can safely remove the downed lines.
Motorists are advised to avoid the area and expect significant traffic delays until the road reopens.
