OAKLAND, NJ — Oakland children can start September with creativity without their families having to plan a full afternoon outing.
September craft bags will be available beginning this Wednesday at the Oakland Public Library's Children's Department, according to the library's programming schedule. Children of all ages who live in Oakland may stop by and pick up one bag each.
The Children's Department is located inside the library at 2 Municipal Plaza.
No registration is required, making the take-home activity an easy option for families easing into the new school year. The library has not identified the craft inside the bags or said how many will be distributed.
