OAKLAND, NJ — Oakland residents will gather to remember those killed in the terrorist attacks 25 years ago.
The borough's 9/11 Memorial Service will begin at 6 p.m. Friday according to Oakland's calendar.
The event gives neighbors a place to pause together and reflect on the lives lost, the first responders who rushed toward danger and the lasting impact of September 11 on families and communities.
