Annual Oakland Carnival Kicks Off This Week: What To Know

The four-day Oakland event will be held at the Recreation Complex on Lawlor Drive.

OAKLAND, NJ — The Borough of Oakland will kick off its annual carnival on Wednesday at the Recreation Complex.

The carnival will run from June 17, through Saturday, June 20 with the event being a major fundraiser for the Oakland Public Events Committee and many of Oakland's non-profit organizations.

Proceeds from the carnival help support public activities and events throughout the year.

Blue Sky Amusements will provide rides for all ages. The carnival also will feature festival food and treats, carnival games, prizes and other attractions.

Carnival Hours:

Wednesday: 6 to 10 p.m.

Thursday: 6 to 10 p.m.

Friday: 6 to 11 p.m.

Saturday: 5 to 11 p.m.

Wristbands/tickets are available for purchase here and will cost $35 for an advanced ticket and $40 for a regular ticket.

There will also be a sensory-friendly session on Saturday, June 20.
