Join us as we reimagine the Van Allen House as a Colonial tavern, the place where people gathered to hear the news from the Second Continental Congress in Philadelphia and of the Colonies’ break from England and King George III.

We’ll have games for all ages, inside and outside; root/ginger/birch beer, lemonade, apple cider, and snacks! It will be a casual, fun place for the entire family to hang out and enjoy.
