Arts in Oakland is proud to announce the kickoff of its 2026 Summer Concert Series at Great Oak Park, launching another season of free, family-friendly live music in the heart of the community.
Kickoff Event — Sunday, May 31 at 3:00pm This free community event features live performances from Phunky Warlocks and Steve Leonard &amp; The Great Oak Music Alliance.
Phunky Warlocks deliver jam rock classics inspired by The Grateful Dead, Phish, Bob Dylan, and more. Steve Leonard &amp; The Great Oak Music Alliance follow with a dynamic mix of original music and jam-style covers.

The Hermitage

We are back at the 15th Hermitage Museum located at 355 Franklin Turnpike, Hohokus, NJ, (next to Ridgewood} on Saturday, August 8, from 10 to 4 with the annual outdoor Hermitage Outdoor Art &amp; Craft Show featuring seventy-five talented exhibitors set up on the beautiful tree shaded front lawn of this historic site. This promises to be an unforgettable shopping experience that you do not want to miss. The show is sponsored by Friends of the Hermitage and promoted by P.J.’s Promotions. 
You will find a diverse selection of items including art, pottery, fiber, jewelry, charcuterie boards, folk art, florals, turned wood items, bonsai, stained glass, apparel, area train station prints, chain saw animals, watercolors, pressed flower art, candles, soaps, crochet animals, wood &amp; flag signs, birdhouses, ceramics, soft sculpture and so much more. 
In addition to the great displays, festival foods, kettle korn, pretzels and desserts will be available. Admission is $5 and includes a tour of the Museum. The show is held rain or shine. Bergen County Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) is the only nonprofit in the county that recruits, trains, and supervises volunteers to advocate for children in the foster care system. These Advocates visit regularly, monitor well-being, and advocate in court for children’s medical, educational, and emotional needs—helping them heal and thrive.
