Challengers Francesco Spinella and Vivian King will try and unseat incumbents Robert Akovity and Lisa Cooper.

Four candidates, including two incumbents, will vie for two, three-year terms on the Oakland Board of Education in Tuesday’s school board election.
Francesco Spinella and Vivian King will are running against incumbents Robert Akovity and Lisa Cooper.
Voters will also vote on the proposed $27 million general fund tax.

Polls will be open from 2 to 9 p.m.
Districts one and two will vote at Valley Middle School, rooms 309 and 311.

Districts three and four will vote at the Oakland Senior Center, 20 Lawlor Drive
Districts five and six will vote at the Heights School Gymnasium.
Districts seven and eight will vote at the Manito School Gymnasium.
