Man Charged With Burglarizing Oakland Business

BREAKING: Detective Keith Docwra, along with officers from Wyckoff, Franklin Lakes and Mahwah, investigated the burglary.

OAKLAND, NJ — A borough police detective, who worked with officers from three neighboring towns, charged a Franklin Lakes resident with burglarizing a vehicle and business.

Detective Keith Docwra charged Brian Hoeverman, 36, with two counts each of burglary and theft, said Lt. Christian Elridge.

Tools were taken from a vehicle and a business on Spruce Street Aug. 18, Elridge said.

Docwra worked with detectives from Wyckoff, Franklin Lakes and Mahwah during the investigation.

Hoeverman was processed and released in according with state bail reform procedures, Eldridge said.
