Oakland Valero Gas Station Robbed At Gunpoint: Police
BREAKING: A man wearing a face mask fled the scene with money Sunday night, police said.

OAKLAND, N.J. — The Valero gas station on Ramapo Valley Road was robbed at gunpoint Sunday night, police said.
A man wearing dark clothing and a face mask went up to the gas station attendant, brandished a handgun and fled the scene with "an undisclosed amount of cash" that he took from the counter, said Lt. Chris Eldridge.
The man ran west on Doty Road towards West Oakland Avenue, Eldridge said. No one was injured.

Oakland police officers responded to the scene just before 8 p.m. and searched the area with the help of a Bergen County Sheriff's Office K9 unit, Eldridge said.

Authorities are investigating the robbery and ask anyone with information to call the Oakland Police Department at 201-337-6171.
