STEAM Rocks! Design Challenge Summer Camp

Date : June 20th-24th
9AM-3PM (lunch from 12-1PM)
Grades : Split by 1st-4th & 5th-8th
Location : Academies at Gerrard Berman Day School
45 Spruce St, Oakland, NJ 07436
Activities and Topics Include: Robotics, Wind Energy, Hydroponics, Solar Energy, 3-D Printing and Electronics
9AM-12PM
campers will learn about different engineering concepts such as 3D Printing (learn to use design
software), Wind or Solar Energy, HydroPonics, & Robotics, Electronics, & more. We have different levels of
all of our programs which we will adjust accordingly depending on the overall knowledge of the group.
1PM-3PM
campers will be given a real world problem to solve that they can use their new knowledge
obtained during the 912PM
programs to create a solution. At the end of the week they will present their
solution to the class in groups of 24.
Other campers along with instructors will judge the presentations using
our rubrics & winning groups will receive 3D printed prizes!
STEAM Rocks Camp Uniqueness: All of our programs are designed and taught by our team of PicoNaut
Engineers. We give a real world experience to students unlike any other camp. All of our engineers work
together and have different engineering backgrounds giving them a diverse set of skills!
