Teen Tried To Cash Fraudulent Check At TD Bank, Police Said

A teenager was charged with forgery after he allegedly attempted to cash a fraudulent business check at the TD Bank, police said.

Patrolman Michael Griffin went to the TD Bank to investigate an individual attempting to cash a fraudulent business check, Oakland police said.

After an investigation, an 18-year-old resident of the Bronx, New York, was arrested and charged with forgery and theft by deception, police said.

Bail was set at $20,000 and the man was remanded to the Bergen County Jail when he was unable to post bail.
