Why Go To The Farmers Market?

In the short amount of the Oakland Farmers Market has been in existence it's made a pretty big impact on people here.

The fresh food and goods fair is a hit — as evidenced by the sheer number of people there on an average weekend —and the crowds keep returning.

Vendors there are as diverse as Belamari Teas, DoReMi Farms, Pickle Licious and the Riverside Nursery.

So we want to know, who or what are your favorite vendors?

What is your No. 1 must have item at the market? Are you a fresh produce gal? A patriarch of artisanal tea bags?
