1 Injured, 5 Displaced In Jersey Shore House Fire: Officials

An intense, heavy fire ripped through the 3-story home over the weekend in Brigantine, officials said.

BRIGANTINE, NJ — One person was injured and five displaced after a heavy fire tore through a 3-story Brigantine home, officials said.

Brigantine Fire & EMS responded to the blaze on the 1300 block of East Beach Avenue at about 11:40 p.m. on July 5, the fire department shared.

Heavy fire conditions were seen on multiple floors of the home, officials said.

The fire was so heavy that a total of 21 firefighters responded, according to officials.

One civilian was injured and five total were displaced. The home sustained extensive fire damage. Three vehicles were also damaged.

The fire remains under investigation and is not considered suspicious at this time.
