10 Ocean City Coronavirus Patients Cleared Off Quarantine
Cape May County officials have reported 13 active coronavirus cases in Ocean City, but the city reached a milestone Wednesday.
OCEAN CITY, NJ — The new-coronavirus outbreak might be far from over, but Ocean City reached a milestone. A 10th person in Ocean City to test positive for the coronavirus was cleared off quarantine, officials reported Wednesday.
Ocean City has 13 active cases of the coronavirus as of Wednesday afternoon, according to the Cape May County Health Department. The CMCHD has not reported any coronavirus deaths in Ocean City.

Cape May County has 124 active cases, 116 people cleared off quarantine and 21 recorded deaths. County officials reported one new death Wednesday: an 89-year-old Dennis Township woman.
"Given the increases in the community spread throughout the United States, all individuals are at some risk of exposures to COVID-19," county officials said. "Everyone should monitor themselves for symptoms of COVID-19, practice social distancing, and stay home if they become sick, except to seek necessary medical care."

Governor Phil Murphy announced 2,481 new cases and 329 more deaths statewide Wednesday. After the daily average of cases was peaking over 4,000, New Jersey's daily total has gradually lowed over the past week.
