17th Street Bridge In Ocean City To Close On Tuesday
No cars will be able to cross the bridge during construction work.

OCEAN CITY, NJ — The west 17th Street Bridge will be closed on Tuesday, March 6, for construction work by New Jersey American Water, Ocean City officials said on Monday. The bridge will be closed from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. No cars will be able to cross the bridge during construction work.
The police and fire departments will stage a police vehicle, an ambulance and engine in the neighborhood and be ready to respond. Residents will be able to park on the Bay Avenue side and walk across the bridge. Ocean City police officers will be present to assist.
Trash and recycling pickup in the neighborhood will be rescheduled to Wednesday, March 7. The bridge will reopen as soon as the job is completed.
