$1K Surf-N-Turf Dinner Of Crabs, Steak Stolen In Upper Twp.: NJSP

State police say the two men walked into the Acme, helped themselves to dinner and walked out without paying for it. .

GALLOWAY, NJ — Two men who apparently were hungry had expensive tastes, as New Jersey State Police say they stole $1,000 worth of steaks, crabs and fruit from a Cape May County supermarket earlier this month.

The incident happened Aug. 11, about 9:45 p.m., state police said in a Facebook post. The two men walked into the Acme in Upper Township and allegedly stole $1,000 worth of crab meat, steaks, and fruit.

One man is described as about 20 to 30 years old, 6 feet tall, with tattoos on his right forearm and upper left arm. He was last seen wearing a "Thug Life" black tank top, black shorts, blue running shoes and a gray baseball cap.

The man is described as 18 to 25 years old, with short black or brown hair. He was last seen wearing a light gray shirt, dark gray shorts, and white shoes.

The first man also is being sought by Egg Harbor Township Police Department in connection with an investigation in that town.
