2 Firefighters Injured Responding To Accident On Snowy Day In Cape May Co.
The pickup truck was blocking traffic due to an overturned vehicle when another vehicle crashed into it, injuring two firefighters.

DENNIS TWP., NJ — Two firefighters were injured in a crash while responding to another accident as snow fell across South Jersey Monday.
Utility 18, a Dennis Volunteer Fire Company pickup truck, was blocking traffic with its emergency lights on due to an overturned commercial vehicle on Route 47, firefighters said.
Just before 2 p.m., Utility 18 was struck by another vehicle near the intersection of Tyler Road and Route 47, according to the fire department.

Two firefighters were taken to the hospital for minor injuries, officials said. The other vehicle's driver was also taken to the hospital.
"Dennis Fire urges all drivers to STAY ALERT and SLOW DOWN & MOVE OVER for emergency vehicles," the fire company said.

Across Cape May County, up to 8 inches of snow have fallen as of Monday afternoon. The most is in Cape May, with 8.1 inches according to the National Weather Service.
