2 More Cape May County Residents Die From Coronavirus

CAPE MAY COUNTY, NJ—A 65-year-old woman from Dennis Township and a 92-year-old woman from Lower Township have died of COVID-19, according to the Cape May County Health Department.
“We extend our deepest condolences to the loved ones of these residents,” said Cape May County Freeholder Director Gerald Thornton. “While we have expected more cases, these deaths are another reminder that protection of our community is critical.”
County health officials said there are currently 16 active cases in Ocean City. Seven people in Ocean City have been cleared off quarantine, and no one in the city has died from the virus, according to the CMCHD.

Countywide, health officials are reporting 190 active coronavirus cases, 92 people have cleared off quarantine, and there have been 20 deaths.
