2 Pedestrians Struck In Ocean City: Police
Both pedestrians were taken to the hospital, police said.

OCEAN CITY, NJ — A motorist struck two pedestrians at around 5:33 p.m. Friday on 8th Street and Bay Avenue in Ocean City, police said. Both pedestrians were taken to AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center, according to police.
The vehicle collided with them when the driver — traveling westbound on 8th Avenue — navigated a left turn southbound onto Bay Avenue, police said. One pedestrian — a 47-year-old male — was transported by helicopter. The second victim — a 40-year-old woman — was transported via ambulance.
The driver remained on the scene, police said. The investigation is ongoing.
