2022 NJ 2nd District Primary Election Guide: Who's On The Ballot
The Republican and Democratic primaries are June 7. Here is who's running and what you need to know about voting in the primaries.

NEW JERSEY — New Jersey voters are heading to the polls on June 7 to vote in the House of Representatives primary election.
Republicans and Democrats from Atlantic, Cape May, Cumberland, Salem and parts of Gloucester and Ocean counties will be voting to choose the nominees for the Second Congressional District.
Here is the timeline for the election:

- May 17: Deadline to register to vote
- May 31: Deadline to apply for mail-in ballot for primary
- June 3: Deadline for application to receive primary election mail-in ballots for qualified overseas civilian and military voters
- June 3 through June 5: In-person early voting
- June 6: Deadline for in-person mail-in ballot through County Clerks Office
- June 7: Polls open for primary election

Voters will return to the polls on November 8 for the general election.
Redistricting has changed the 2nd District. It now contains all of Atlantic, Cape May, Cumberland and Salem Counties. It also contains from Gloucester County: Logan, Swedesboro, Woolwich, Harrison, South Harrison, Elk, Clayton, Franklin, Newfield and part of East Greenwich. And from Ocean County: Little Egg Harbor, Tuckerton, Beach Haven, Long Beach, Eagleswood, Ship Bottom, Stafford, Surf City, Barnegat, Barnegat Light, Harvey Cedars, Ocean Township (Waretown) and parts of Berkeley and Lacey.
