2023 Ocean City Beach Tags On Sale Saturday At Increased Price

Seasonal beach tags for 2023 go on sale on Nov. 19, at their new, higher price.

OCEAN CITY, NJ — As we head into the holiday season, a glimmer of hope for warmer weather appears, as 2023 seasonal beach tags go on sale starting this Saturday, Nov. 19.

However, enjoying the beach will come at a higher price next year, as the Ocean City Council recently voted to raise beach tag prices. Read More: Beach Tag Prices Are Increasing In Ocean City

When the sale begins, pre-season beach tags will cost $30, up $10 from recent years.

This price lasts until May 31, 2023, when the price is raised to $35.

All beachgoers ages 12-and-older will need a beach tag from June 3, 2023 through Sept. 4, 2023.

Daily and weekly beach tags will be on sale when the season starts, priced at $10 and $20, respectively. This is double their previous price.

Starting Saturday, you will be able to purchase beach tags online. You can also purchase in-person at the following locations, except on holidays.

  • City Hall (861 Asbury Ave.): 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily
  • Rt. 52 Welcome Center: 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday-Friday; 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday; 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday
  • Henry Knight Building (12th Street and Haven Ave.): 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday to Friday
  • Aquatic & Fitness Center (17th Street and Simpson Ave.): 5 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday to Friday; 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
  • 46th Street Welcome Center: 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Thursday to Saturday; 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday.
