2nd Annual Rally Against Offshore Wind Set In Ocean City

Protect Our Coast New Jersey is holding their Second Annual Stop Offshore Wind Rally and Bridge Walk this month.

OCEAN CITY, NJ — Opponents of offshore wind will again gather at Mark Soifer Park and then walk along the bridge in order to protest further wind development at the Jersey Shore.

Protect Our Coast New Jersey, the anti-wind nonprofit group, is the host of the Second Annual Stop Offshore Wind Rally and Bridge Walk.

The rally is set for May 25 from 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. at Mark Soifer Park, across from City Hall.

"This event is intended to bring attention to our efforts to preserve the unique heritage of the Jersey Shore and protect fragile coastal and marine habitats," Protect Our Coast NJ said.

Dan Klein from WOND Radio will serve as guest host.

Several special guests will speak, including gubernatorial candidate Jack Ciattarelli, State Senate candidate Chris Bashaw, Judge Michael Donahue and more.
