Elderly Pedestrian Fatally Struck By Car In Ocean City: Police
26-year-old Sweetwater man fatally strikes 82-year-old Seaville woman while she was crossing the street, authorities said.
An 82-year-old woman was killed after she was struck by a car Tuesday in Ocean City, police said. Elizabeth Goodwin, of Seaville, died after she was taken to Atlantic City Medical Center.
No charges have been filed at this time. Michael Heston, 26, of Sweetwater, was turning when he struck Goodwin as she crossed in the intersection of 8th Street and Wesley Avenue, police said.
Heston remained on the scene after the accident, which is being investigated, police said.
