9 Things To Do In Ocean City This Weekend
Ocean City will feature many activities this weekend, including Mollusk Day, Ballroom With a Twist and Tunes For Trees.

OCEAN CITY, N.J. — Ocean City will feature plenty of activities this weekend. Here are nine events going on in "America's Happiest Seaside Town."
Night Skate and Bowl Jam 2, 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. Friday
The Ocean City Skate Park will hold a skateboard exhibition (rain date May 17). Entry fee is $5 for male and female skaters of all ages and another $5 to enter the Bowl Jam Skate Contest. Winners will receive prizes.

Lights will be provided by the Ocean City Fire Department, music by DJ Bill, and snacks/drinks by St. Peter’s United Methodist Church.
Package Goods Orchestra, 7 p.m. Friday

This free concert at the Ocean City Free Public Library’s Chris Maloney Lecture Hall will feature “songs you’ll love … to the moon and stars and back.”
Chica De Maya, 9 a.m. to noon Saturday
This event encourages girls of all ages and abilities to learn to skate, show off their talents and participate in a bowl jam, mini jam, giveaways, crafts and more at the Ocean City Skate Park. Zoe Herishen, a 12-year-old skating star, is the founder of the event and will be participating.
The event was originally scheduled for May 5 but postponed due to weather.
Martin Z. Mollusk Day, 11 a.m. Saturday

Muscle Car Invasion, noon to 5 p.m. Saturday
Modern muscle cars will be displayed on the Boardwalk between between Fifth Street and 14th Street. For more information, visit www.modernmusclecarinvasion.com.
"Ballroom With a Twist," 7:30 p.m. Saturday
The show features performers from “Dancing With The Stars,” “So You Think You Can Dance,” The Voice” and “American Idol” together on one stage. This performance combines sizzling dance moves while favorites from "The Voice and "American Idol" sing their hit songs.

Tunes For Trees, 7:30 p.m. Saturday
Piano men Scott Nuss and Andrew Hink will perform the best of the ’60s, ’70s and ’80s in a concert to benefit the Pinelands Preservation Alliance. The show features sing-along music on dueling grand pianos.
The show takes place at the Ocean City Tabernacle (550 Wesley Ave.). General admission is a donation of $15 per person ($10 with a school ID). Tickets will be sold at the door, based on availability. For tickets in advance, email pianomenconcert@gmail.com.
Home Show, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday
The Spring & Summer Series Residential Living & Leisure Event kicks off your spring and summer home improvement projects. The event features giveaways, expert advice, savings and more.
The expo takes place at the Ocean City Civic Center (Sixth Street and Boardwalk).
West Chester Senior Strings, 4 p.m. Sunday
A free Mother's Day concert at the Ocean City Music Pier.
