About 150 Supporters Gather in Atlantic City to Support Police
Police chiefs from Atlantic City, Galloway and Egg Harbor Township were in attendance, according to The Press of Atlantic City.

About 150 people, including Galloway Police Chief Pat Moran, gathered in a show of support for local law enforcement in Atlantic City Friday afternoon, The Press of Atlantic City reports.
The gathering included Moran, as well as Atlantic City Police Chief Henry White, Egg Harbor Township Police Chief Michael Morris and the girlfriend of a former FBI agent, among others, according to the report.
Two New York City police officers, Rafael Ramos, 40, and Wen Jian Liu, 32, were killed Saturday, Dec. 20 in an execution-style murder. The gunman later committed suicide.

A total of 41 police officers have been killed by gunfire this year, according to The Washington Post.
However, event organizer John Baker told The Press that the march was about supporting police, and had nothing to do with recent issues publicized in the newspaper.
