Acme Scallop Shoplifter Wanted By State Police In Cape May Co.

The man stole hundreds of dollars of scallops from two Acme stores in Cape May County, New Jersey State Police said.

UPPER TOWNSHIP, NJ — State Police are seeking a man who stole hundreds of dollars of scallops from two Cape May County Acme stores in March.

On March 27, the man spent about 20 minutes in the Seaville Acme and left with more than $100 worth of unpaid scallops, police said.

Shortly after, he went to the Avalon Acme and did the same thing, shoplifting more scallops, police said.

He was seen leaving the store in a white or silver 2004-2008 Ford F-150 with an aftermarket flatbed, according to police.
