Alexander Wins NJ 2nd Congressional District Democrat Primary: AP
Tim Alexander is expected to face off against incumbent Jeff Van Drew in November, according to unofficial AP results.

NEW JERSEY — Tim Alexander has won the New Jersey 2nd Congressional District Democratic primary, according to unofficial Associated Press results.
Alexander's win was projected with 92.2 percent of votes counted. Results are unofficial until certified.
Alexander, a retired law enforcement officer and current civil rights attorney, is expected to face off against incumbent Jeff Van Drew in November's general election.
