OCEAN CITY, NJ — Ocean City will host its eighth annual Sports Memorabilia Show on Saturday and Sunday, April 25 and 26, at the Ocean City Music Pier, with appearances by former Philadelphia Flyers star John LeClair, former Phillies shortstop and manager Larry Bowa, and Eagles linebacker Jihaad Campbell. The city said the three athletes will greet fans and lead Q&A sessions during the free event.
Vendors with merchandise and collector’s items representing a variety of sports and teams will be on display and for sale. Admission is free. Hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday. Free parking will be available at municipal lots adjacent to the Boardwalk at Moorlyn Terrace, Eighth Street and Ninth Street.
LeClair played with the Flyers from 1995 to 2004. The event announcement says he was a five-time All Star, a two-time First Team NHL selection and scored 406 goals in his NHL career. It also says he won a silver medal with Team USA at the 2002 Olympics and was inducted into the United States Hockey Hall of Fame in 2009 and the Flyers Hall of Fame in 2014.
Bowa played for the Phillies from 1970 to 1981 and helped the team win its first World Series in 1980, according to the event announcement. It says he was a five-time All-Star, finished third in National League MVP voting in 1978, won the 2001 NL Manager of the Year award as Phillies manager and was placed on the Phillies Wall of Fame in 1991.
Campbell was picked by the Eagles in the first round of the 2025 NFL draft after playing at Alabama, according to the announcement. It says he was first team All-SEC in 2024 and was named to the Professional Writers NFL All-Rookie team for the 2025 season.
The athletes also will be available for individual meet-and-greet sessions that include opportunities for autographs and photos. John LeClair’s Q&A is scheduled for 12:30 p.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, followed by a meet-and-greet from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. for $25. Larry Bowa’s Q&A is set for 2 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. Saturday, followed by a meet-and-greet from 2:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. for $20. Jihaad Campbell’s Q&A is scheduled for 12:30 p.m. to 1 p.m. Sunday, followed by a meet-and-greet from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. for $40.
