OCEAN CITY, NJ — Ocean City veterans are being invited to take part in the Cape May County Bar Association and Cape May County Surrogate's Wills for Warriors program on June 4, 2026. The program will run from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and will offer basic estate planning services free of charge to veterans.
According to the announcement, the services will include wills, powers of attorney and healthcare directives. The event will be held at American Legion Post 524, located at 4562 West Ave. in Ocean City.
Veterans who want to participate are asked to schedule an appointment through the Surrogate's Office. The office said callers should ask for Hannah at 609-463-6666.
“I want to thank County Surrogate Marie Hayes and all the members of the local Bar Association who are helping to provide these services,” Mayor Jay Gillian said.
“Our veterans have done so much for our country and community in Ocean City. It's always important to support them in every way we can,” Gillian said.
Appointments are available from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at American Legion Post 524, and veterans can reserve a spot by contacting the Surrogate's Office and asking for Hannah at 609-463-6666.
