Man Shot In Face At Jersey Shore Motel: Prosecutor

Adam Radomski, 43, confronted the 25-year-old man shortly after the man arrived at the motel and shot him, officials said.

RIO GRANDE, NJ — A Cape May County man was charged with attempted murder after shooting another man in the face at a Middle Township motel, the Cape May County Prosecutor's Office announced.

Just before 1 p.m. on May 15, police went to the Simpson Motel in the Rio Grande section of Middle Township for a shooting report, officials said.

A 25-year-old man had been shot in the face, according to authorities. He was taken to the hospital for treatment.

The suspect, 43-year-old Adam Radomski, a Rio Grande resident, had confronted the victim shortly after arriving to the motel, which led to the shooting, officials said.

Radomski was located shortly after in Rio Grande, officials said.

A handgun, multiple firearm accessories and parts, and other miscellaneous weapons were recovered, authorities said.

Radomski was charged with criminal attempt (murder), aggravated assault, possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose, unlawful possession of a weapon, three counts of prohibited weapons and devices, certain persons not to possess a weapon and refusal to allow biological sample to be drawn.
