OCEAN CITY, NJ — Ocean City has announced plans for its 2026 Night in Venice celebration, including a new theme and two new pageants tied to the annual summer event.
Mayor Jay Gillian announced the 2026 theme as “Stars, Stripes and Christmas Lights.”
The annual bayfront celebration will mark its 71st anniversary in 2026. According to the announcement, the theme blends patriotic elements with “Christmas in July” and is intended to inspire decorated boats and bayfront homes during the event.
The boat parade is scheduled for July 25 at 6:30 p.m. in Ocean City. Fireworks will follow over the bay, according to the announcement. Entries are now open for boats and bayfront homes, giving participants time to prepare for one of the city’s best-known summer traditions.
The announcement also said Ocean City will add two new pageants this year. Little Miss Night in Venice will be open to ages 8 to 11, and Junior Miss Night in Venice will be open to ages 12 to 15.
The pageants are scheduled for July 15 at the Music Pier. According to the announcement, the winners will preside over the July 25 celebration.
