The eight-time Grammy winner will return to Wildwood for the beach festival's June 17-20, 2027 run.

WILDWOOD, NJ — Barefoot Country Music Fest has announced Carrie Underwood as the first headliner for its 2027 event in Wildwood, with the festival set to return to the beach June 17-20, 2027.

The announcement was issued Friday by BCMF, which said additional headliners and artists will be announced in the coming weeks.

Underwood previously headlined the inaugural Barefoot Country Music Fest and is returning as the event enters its seventh year.

According to the festival announcement, Early Bird tickets for BCMF 2027 are on sale now, with payment plans starting at $19 down while that inventory remains available.

"Carrie helped kick off our very first year of BCMF, and her performance in Wildwood was nothing short of epic," said Bob Durkin, co-founder of Southern Entertainment. "It's a night our fans still talk about and one we'll never forget. We couldn't be more excited to welcome Carrie back to Barefoot in 2027."

Underwood is an eight-time Grammy Award winner and is the highest RIAA-certified female country artist of all time, with more than 95 million total RIAA certifications. Her career includes 29 No. 1 singles and more than 100 major awards, including 16 ACM Awards, 25 CMT Music Awards, 17 American Music Awards and seven CMA Awards.

Underwood is a three-time ACM Entertainer of the Year and the only woman to win that honor three times. All 10 of her albums debuted in the Top 10 of the Billboard 200, and she has been a member of the Grand Ole Opry since 2008.

BCMF said the Wildwood event has grown into a destination music festival and has received recognition from USA Today, Billboard and Rolling Stone. The festival announcement also said BCMF recorded multiple sellouts, was named a "Top 10 Festival of the Summer You Must Attend" by NJ.com and won Best of the Jersey Shore honors from 2022 through 2026.

The festival is held on the beach in Wildwood between Morey's Piers, according to the announcement. BCMF said its 2027 event is expected to feature more than 40 artists over four days, mixing major country acts with regional performers, up-and-coming artists and local favorites.

Tickets and additional information are available at BarefootCountryMusicFest.com, according to the announcement. More lineup announcements are expected in the coming weeks.
