Developers, city officials, and neighbors say the project, approved by City Council in 2025, will transform a key gateway corridor alongside recent road and playground improvements.
• Summer, overall, was good for business in Cape May County ‣ Ocean City Sentinel (ocnjsentinel.com) — Ocean City businesses are reporting a solid 2026 summer, with full rooms, busy restaurants, and strong event attendance, according to the local chamber of commerce. County tourism officials say overnight stays and occupancy tax revenue rose, even as visitors trimmed spending on retail and fine dining, shifted toward shorter trips, and favored casual food, campgrounds, and fall and holiday visits.
• Best Shops & Attractions for Families (oceancityvacation.com) — Ocean City families can explore a wide mix of shops and attractions, from OCNJ-branded souvenir and surf stores on the Boardwalk to boutique clothing and artisan galleries along Asbury Avenue. The piece highlights kid-friendly rides, arcades, mini golf, and water sports, along with nature and bay activities, to help you plan a flexible, activity-packed stay on the island.
