County tourism officials say Cape May County led the state in key indicators, even as visitors trimmed trip length and shifted spending toward casual dining and budget-conscious choices.
4. Support breast cancer awareness at these local events (thedailyjournal.com) — Ocean City residents can join the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk on October 11, starting 10 a.m. at the 6th Street Boardwalk ramp and looping a 5K back to the Sports & Civic Center. Registration is free, fundraising is encouraged, and several other South Jersey events through late October also support research, patient assistance, and survivor programs.
