OCEAN CITY, NJ — Ocean City police will host a Coffee with Cops event from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 24, in the atrium outside the Ocean City Free Public Library at the Ocean City Community Center, 1735 Simpson Ave.
The event invites members of the public to meet with the Police Department's Community Policing Unit and talk about local policing and other topics. According to the event announcement, the program is meant to give residents and officers a chance to connect in an informal setting.
The Ocean City Free Public Library is co-sponsoring the event. The library will provide free coffee and refreshments for people who attend.
Coffee with Cops programs are generally built around casual conversation rather than formal presentations.
