Annual Holiday Spectacular Returns To Ocean City

The family-friendly holiday show features nine professional performers and four local kids.

OCEAN CITY, NJ — It's the most wonderful time of the year, and what better way to celebrate than by enjoying the the Greater Ocean City Theatre Company's 2022 Holiday Spectacular?

A cast of professional singers and dancers presents this high-energy, family-friendly song and dance tribute to the holidays, directed and choreographed by Brendan Maly.

The show is a longstanding tradition that was conceived by Michael Hartman, OCTC’s Founding Artistic Director. Rounding out the production team is Laura Bretherick (Costume Design), Zach Letty (Wig/Hair Design), James Hartman (Set Design), Drew Patti (Music Director), Todd Williams (Lighting Design) and Michael Dress (Audio).

The theatre company said of the production:

Through dazzling costumes, familiar songs, special guests, toe-tapping numbers, and special effects, this extravaganza will kindle the holiday spirit in all of us as the magic of the season comes to life in a musical journey through seasonal favorites. This year's production features new musical numbers, including a Christmas at the beach section, an explosive gospel song, and a Broadway tap winter wonderland finale.

The cast features nine professional performers and four local kids; Layla Camacho, Harper Juelg, Keira Linthicum and Lydia Snyder.

Performances are Dec. 16 (7:30 p.m.), Dec. 17 (2 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.) and Dec. 18 (2 p.m.). The production will be held at the historic Ocean City Music Pier, Moorlyn Terrace and the Boardwalk, with plenty of free parking. Admission cost is $20 for Adults and $18 for Seniors and Kids under 12.
