Annual Juried Art Show To Open In November At Ocean City Arts Center

OCEAN CITY, NJ — The Ocean City Arts Center Gallery will feature its 2024 Annual Juried Art Show opening Nov. 1 and running through Nov. 22.

This year, there are more than 100 entries, according to the arts center. The prizes to be awarded are Best in Show, 2nd Place, 3rd Place and three Honorable Mentions. This year’s judges are Michael Schweigart, Barbara Chopek and Kathy English, all visual artists from the tri-county area.

The awards will be announced at the Artists’ Reception on Friday, Nov. 8, held from 7 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. Check the Ocean City Arts Center’s website and Facebook page the following week for announcement of winners and photos of the art. For further information call (609) 399-7628.

The Ocean City Arts Center is located on the second floor in the Community Center at 1735 Simpson Ave. Hours of operation are 9 a.m. to 9 a.m., Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday and closed on Sunday.
