Annual Open House Set At Ocean City Fire Department
Members of the community are invited to see the fire department with demonstrations, face-painting, food and more.

OCEAN CITY, NJ ā Learn all about your local fire department at their annual open house, set for Oct. 10.
The event is held from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., rain or shine, at the station (550 Asbury Ave.). It's hosted by the Ocean City Fire Department and IAFF Local 4032.
All are invited to this free event, featuring a live fire demonstration, a helicopter landing, a kitchen fire safety demonstration, face-painting, food, drinks and giveaways.

The annual event coincides with national Fire Prevention Month and gives the community a chance to learn more about how the department works. Off-duty firefighters from the local firefightersā union volunteer their time to produce the event.
