Annual Pottery And Mosaic Show Returns To Ocean City Arts Center

OCEAN CITY, NJ — The Ocean City Arts Center's Annual OCAC Pottery and Mosaic Student and Teacher exhibit is returning and will be on display from Dec. 1 through Dec. 17.

Hundreds of pottery and mosaic pieces created by 28 of the Arts Center's students and teachers will be on display. Many of the artists have created art for several decades, the Arts Center said.

A reception will be held Dec. 2 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. The Arts Center is open 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Friday and 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday to see the show.

The artwork is also for sale, and prices begin at $5. "Pottery and mosaics make great, affordable one-of-a-kind Christmas gifts," the Arts Center said.

The participating teachers are: Joe DiMatteo; Collette Smith and Jill Snyder. A sample of the students in the show are Linda Higbee; Paula Boileau; Anne Cancelmo; Veronica Dull; Vicki Thurlow-Lewis; Gloria Scarella Mahoney; Whitney Hanna; Joanne Price; Susan Kane; Mary Beth Spiegel; Brianne Shaner; Jenna Reisig; Cassen Brunetti; and Sarah Fertsch.
