Another Blood Drive Set For Ocean City Dec. 16
The American Red Cross will host a pair of blood drives in Ocean City next month.

OCEAN CITY, NJ - The American Red Cross will hold a blood drive in Ocean City next month as it faces a severe blood shortage, the organization announced Monday morning.
The blood drive in Ocean City will take place on Dec. 16, 9 a.m. - 2 p.m. at St. John Lutheran Church, 1001 Central Avenue. Another blood drive is also set for this weekend at St. John Lutheran Church.
Blood and platelet donations often decline during the holidays. Regular donors are busy with holiday activities, and travel and severe winter weather may cause blood drive cancellations, but the Red Cross reminds the public that donations remain critical.
