Arnie's Gourmet Butcher Shop To Open In Ocean City

OCEAN CITY, NJ — One of South Jersey's "Best of the Best" is coming to Ocean City. Arnie's Gourmet Butcher Shop & Culinaria announced Tuesday that they will open in Ocean City.

Arnie's will announce the grand-opening date soon for their 1212 Asbury Ave. location. The award-winning shop opened in Cherry Hill in 1985. Arnie's earned South Jersey Magazine's "Best of the Best 2018" award for top butcher shop as recently as last year.

"Whether you’re popping in for a hoagie or panini for lunch, picking up steaks to grill for dinner or looking to cater a family party, Arnie’s has you covered," South Jersey Magazine wrote.

Founder Arnie Madrigale grew up in the family business and worked in Philadelphia's Italian market. Madrigale brought that expertise in prime meats and gourmet cooking to South Jersey.

Arnie's features dry-aged beef, all-natural and organic poultry, American lamb, fresh seafood and more. Their Culinaria includes rustic and traditional foods that their chefs make daily.
