Award Winning Artist Vanessa Williams To Perform With Ocean City Pops This Summer

OCEAN CITY, NJ — Award winning artist Vanessa Williams will pull back the curtain on the Ocean City Pops season when she performs on the Music Pier on Sunday, June 25, 7:30 p.m. Tickets are still available.

Williams won the Oscar, Grammy and Golden Globe for Best Original Song for “Colors of the Wind” from the Disney film “Pocahontas.” During her June 25 performance, she will be backed by the Ocean City Pops.

The multi-talented performer has earned four Emmy nominations, 11 Grammy nominations, a Tony nomination, 3 SAG award nominations, 7 NAACP Image Awards and 3 Satellite Awards. She also has a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

Williams has sold millions of records worldwide, and has had numerous No. 1 and Top 10 hits. Her catalogue includes Pop, Dance, R&B, Adult Contemporary, Holiday, Latin, Gospel and Jazz hits.
