Baby Parade Returns To Ocean City: What To Know

The 112th Annual Ocean City Baby Parade will be held on Aug. 11. Here's how to register and what you need to know.

OCEAN CITY, NJ — The Ocean City Baby Parade returns for its 112th year on Aug. 11. Registration for those interested in participating is now open.

All entrants must be 10-years-old or younger. There is a $5 entry fee per child, with a limit of six children per entry.

There are three divisions for kids: A, for fancy decorations, B, for comic decorations and C for small children's floats. A fourth, Division D, is for hotels, businesses and other organizations.

The parade route goes from 6th Street to 12th Street on the Boardwalk. All cars, special guests, floats and musical acts will continue to 14th Street. You can watch from Music Pier, Moorlyn Terrace and the Boardwalk.

Participation trophies will be given out at the end for all who walked the entire parade route. Specialty awards and overall awards will be given out after at 12th Street.

Check-in begins at 9:30 a.m. on Aug. 11, with the parade kicking off at 10:30 a.m.
