Beloved Jersey Shore Seafood Spot Takes On Water During Nor'easter

CAPE MAY, NJ — A beloved Cape May seafood restaurant is partially closed after being damaged by flooding caused by this weekend's nor'easter.

A video from Taters Golf Association shows the level of flooding in the Lobster House's dining areas, both inside and out.

Then, someone took that video and edited lobsters swimming into it, seeking their return to the sea.

As of Monday, the Lobster House is only partially open - the fish market is open, as are take-out and the coffee shop. The rest remains closed until further notice, the restaurant shared.

"Thank you friends and faithful! The outpouring of concern from you has been overwhelming," the Lobster House said in a social media post. "We're working hard to get back to normal and will share that news as soon as possible!"
