Body Found In Fridge At NJ State Forest: Police
The dead body was found inside of a refrigerator at Belleplain State Forest in Cape May County, authorities told Patch.
DENNIS TWP., NJ — A dead body was found inside of a refrigerator at a South Jersey state forest Sunday afternoon, according to New Jersey State Police.
The body was discovered just before 3 p.m. on Dec. 22 in Belleplain State Forest, a state police spokesperson told Patch. Further details were not available.
Dennis Township Mayor Zeth Matucci said Sunday evening that state police were investigating a body found in the woods. He said there was no threat to the public.

The investigation remains ongoing as of Monday afternoon, police said.
Belleplain State Forest is a 21,320-acre forest that spans portions of Cape May County and Cumberland County. It is a popular spot for hiking and camping.
